Responsibilities
Define core business metrics and establish the company’s data metric system, ensuring consistent definitions, data sources, and update schedules.
Develop and manage data monitoring tools, enabling timely detection and resolution of anomalies and business issues.
Collaborate with data partners, R&D, Quality Assurance, and Business Line Data Scientists to improve and maintain metric systems and data quality processes.
Optimize data science work models and tooling to drive team efficiency and enhance collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Apply quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, and present data to develop strategies for improving the data metric system.
Mentor interns and junior data scientists.

Requirements

Qualifications
Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Data Science, Quantitative Management, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Data Science, Quantitative Management, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:
Mining, preparing, cleansing, and analyzing structured data using statistical computing languages SQL, Python, or R for metrics creation, root cause analysis, and model preprocessing;
Developing graphical and visual representations of data using Excel or Tableau;
Designing and modeling data warehouse to support data analytics, reporting, and data applications; and
Using SQL and/or Spark to query, explore, and manipulate data from Apache Hive and relational database management systems including MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.

Travel Requirement: Domestic and international travel required up to 5%.

Salary Range: $179200 - $292600 per year
