We are seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst to contribute to our next level of growth and expansion.

What is this position about?

  • Execute and support enterprise Data Governance initiatives and governance processes end to end
  • Create and maintain governance documentation, standards, and procedures
  • Perform data analysis and data profiling to identify quality issues and opportunities for improvement
  • Assist with metadata management activities, including documenting and maintaining business and technical metadata
  • Leverage AI-powered data governance tools to automate data classification and tagging, identify sensitive or non-compliant data, and support governance workflows
  • Monitor data assets for compliance with governance policies, identifying potential violations and recommending corrective actions
  • Support the implementation and validation of AI-assisted data retention, archival, and lifecycle management policies
  • Validate data governance controls and ensure compliance with established governance policies and regulatory requirements
  • Document business definitions, data rules, and governance requirements in collaboration with business stakeholders
  • Support data stewardship activities and contribute to improving data quality across critical data domains
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into governance documentation
  • Monitor governance activities and contribute to continuous process improvements
  • Communicate governance updates, findings, and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
  • Approximately 3+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Business/Data Analysis, or related areas.
  • Experience with data governance platforms such as Atlan, CollibraAlation, or similar governance workflow and metadata management tools.
  • Experience in PII discovery and confidence scoring (required)
  • Experience with data masking through AI agents (required)
  • Hands-on AWS experience, including S3, cleanup processes, Glue, AgentCore, and Lambda functions (required)
  • Knowledge of CoCo and Cortex is a plus

What about languages?

  • Advanced English (written and verbal) preferred.

How much experience must I have?

  • Approximately 3+ years of professional experience in Data Governance, Data Analysis, Business Analysis, Data Management, or related disciplines.
