This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced data engineering professional to build and optimize modern cloud-based data platforms in a fully remote environment. The role focuses on designing scalable, high-performance data solutions that power enterprise analytics and strategic decision-making. You will work across the full data engineering lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to production support and continuous improvement. Collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams, you will transform complex data requirements into reliable and efficient data ecosystems. Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Azure data services.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes capable of handling structured, semi-structured, and unstructured enterprise data.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust data engineering solutions.
• Develop and maintain reliable data integration workflows that ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility across platforms.
• Optimize data processing environments for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices to accelerate delivery and enhance solution quality.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues while proactively identifying opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
• Implement best practices related to data governance, documentation, testing, security, and operational support.
• Take ownership of project deliverables by managing timelines, communicating risks effectively, and driving high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5–6 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, with proven expertise in enterprise-scale data platforms.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Azure data services in production environments.
• Solid understanding of SQL, data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and modern cloud-based data architectures.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and enterprise data integration solutions.
• Proficiency in Python, Apache Spark, or similar technologies for large-scale data processing.
• Experience optimizing cloud-based workflows for performance, reliability, scalability, and cost management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to troubleshoot complex production challenges.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and automation techniques to improve engineering productivity.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across global and cross-functional teams.
• Self-driven, proactive, and ownership-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to evolving business priorities.
• Immediate availability or short notice period is highly preferred.
