As the largest training provider for Amazon Career Choice, and a growing partner to state governments building registered apprenticeship programs, Correlation One sits at the intersection of employer talent needs and scalable workforce training.

We work with Fortune 500 enterprises, federal and state government agencies, and leading employers to close skills gaps in AI, data analytics, cybersecurity, and operations leadership. Our programs produce job-ready graduates who are prepared to contribute from day one.

Your impact:

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and operating reliable, analytics-ready data systems that power decision-making across the organization. You’ll meaningfully contribute to key data pipelines, partner closely with analytics stakeholders, and help evolve our data platform to be more scalable, trustworthy, and easier to work with.

This is a hands-on role for someone who cares deeply about production data quality, is comfortable making decisions in ambiguous environments, and is motivated by building systems that other teams depend on every day.

A day in the life:

  • Design technical strategy to develop components, frameworks and libraries to create seamless applications for our customers
  • Hands-on development of scalable components and applications
  • Mentor engineers including senior and junior engineers on their team
  • Improve and uphold standards for engineering and operational excellence
  • Create and encourage comprehensive documentation for code, libraries, and components to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team

Your expertise:

  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering or closely related roles
  • Strong experience building and maintaining production data pipelines using Python
  • Hands-on experience integrating data from external APIs
  • Experience operating batch ELT pipelines and working with data warehouses
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience modeling data for analytics and reporting use cases
  • Experience working with orchestration tools such as Airflow
  • Familiarity with dbt or similar transformation tools, and comfort working closely with analytics teams
  • Demonstrated ownership of production systems, including monitoring, debugging, and incident response
  • Comfort working in ambiguous environments and making pragmatic technical decisions
  • Experience working in a cloud environment such as GCP (or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and source control (e.g., GitHub)
  • Experience working in collaborative, iterative development environments
  • Additional preferred experience:
    • Designing or migrating pipelines toward incremental loading patterns
    • Working with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform)
    • Experience with data quality tooling, testing, or observability
    • Exposure to BI tools or supporting analytics workflows
    • Experience learning and adopting new tools or technologies quickly
