💻 Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Compensation Analyst to help design, build, and manage our global compensation programs. You’ll be a key partner of the Total Rewards team to launch/implement new compensation programs, provide insights and analysis, and serve as a subject matter expert to our cross-functional stakeholders and employees.

  • Lead and support the design and implementation of our global compensation programs, including salary, variable, and equity-based programs
  • Leverage compensation expertise to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership to develop effective compensation strategies
  • Conduct market benchmarking to refine our job architecture and determine pay ranges to support business growth
  • Manage the setup and execution of our compensation planning cycles, with emphasis on stakeholder engagement and employee training
  • Collaborate with the Recruiting team on offer approvals, process optimization, and gathering competitive insights and analysis
  • Drive clarity, transparency, and understanding of compensation at Whatnot
  • Develop and maintain tools to enhance efficiency of programs

Team members in this role are required to be within commuting distance of our New York City, NY, Los Angeles, CA or San Francisco, CA hubs.

As our next Senior Compensation Analyst, you should have 5+ years of compensation experience at a fast-paced company, plus:

  • Experience managing the design and implementation of large-scale compensation initiatives and programs, globally
  • Experience with job analysis, benchmarking, and market pricing. Experience with Radford and Pave is a plus
  • Strong ability to toggle between strategic planning, customer focused, and hands-on operational excellence
  • Strong change management experience, navigating communications and training across a global organization
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, personally accountable and promotes a documented process-oriented approach
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with an eagerness to build, learn, and grow

💰Compensation

For US-based applicants: $160,000/year to $210,000/year + benefits + equity.

The salary range may be inclusive of several levels that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be based on a number of factors including, level, relevant prior experience, skills and expertise. This range is only inclusive of base salary, not benefits (more details below) or equity.
