Senior Coating & Painting Inspector

Responsibilities
- Perform inspection and surveillance of pipe coating, painting, insulation, and corrosion protection activities.
- Inspect surface preparation, blasting, coating application, curing, and coating repairs.
- Conduct coating inspections including DFT, WFT, holiday testing, adhesion testing, and environmental monitoring.
- Inspect and verify 3LPP (Three-Layer Polypropylene) coating systems, concrete coating, and field joint coating activities.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, QA/QC requirements, and international standards.
- Review coating procedures, material certifications, inspection reports, and quality records.
- Identify non-conformances and verify implementation of corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- At least 5 years of experience in pipe coating and field joint coating inspection.
- Proven experience with 3LPP coating systems and concrete coating inspections.
- Strong knowledge of coating inspection techniques, corrosion protection systems, and pipeline coating applications.
- Valid BGAS Grade 2 or NACE Level 2 Coating Inspector Certification.
- Experience in refinery, petrochemical, pipeline, EPC, or offshore projects is highly preferred.
- Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel for international project assignments.
