Senior CI/CD Engineer for HW Development (f/m/div)

Job Description
As a Senior Staff CI/CD Engineer for HW Development, you will drive the implementation and maintenance of advanced development pipelines for Infineon’s hardware flows. Working closely with our methodology and engineering teams, you’ll help boost efficiency, quality, and standardization while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

In your new role you will:

• Implement and maintain CI/CD Pipelines for Product Development (focus on HW) in collaboration with Infineon’s Methodology Development Center
• Collaborate with Engineering teams to integrate CI/CD practices into existing development workflows
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 26262, ASPICE, IATF16949 and ISO9001
• Continuously monitor and improve CI/CD processes, identifying areas for optimization and implementing changes to increase efficiency and quality
• Provide training and support to engineering teams on CI/CD practices and tools

Your Profile
You are a proactive and structured professional with a strong technical foundation in semiconductor development and a passion for automation. You communicate clearly, collaborate with diverse teams, and enjoy driving improvement across processes and tools.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience with commonly used scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Powershell, Python, Groovy)
• Proven experience in CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab), DevOps or a related field, preferably in the automotive industry
• Good experience with version control tools: Perforce, Git, SVN
• Understanding of semiconductor product development processes and overall strategy for applying CI/CD concepts is preferred (experience in HW-SW co-design is an advantage)
• Self-initiative, striving for efficiency and continuous improvement
• Use of agile working methods and the willingness to undergo continuous further training
• Good planning and organizational skills
• Positive attitude in an international environment, with a self-starter attitude and eagerness to tackle unknowns
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
• Excellent command of the English language
