Job description

👋🏼 We're Nagarro. We are a digital product engineering company that is scaling in a big way! We build products, services, and experiences that inspire, excite, and delight. We work at scale — across all devices and digital mediums, and our people exist everywhere in the world (18 000+ experts across 39 countries, to be exact). Our work culture is dynamic and non-hierarchical. We're looking for great new colleagues. That's where you come in! By this point in your career, it is not just about the tech you know or how well you can code. It is about what more you want to do with that knowledge. Can you help your teammates proceed in the right direction? Can you tackle the challenges our clients face while always looking to take our solutions one step further to succeed at an even higher level? Yes? You may be ready to join us.

We're looking for an experienced Senior C++ Software Engineer (5+ years) to join a team developing software for medical technology products.

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications using modern C++.
  • Implement new features while following established architecture and coding standards.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and efficient memory usage.
  • Collaborate with architects and technical leads to translate system designs into high-quality implementations.
  • Contribute to component design, interfaces, and API development.
  • Integrate software with backend services, third-party libraries, and hardware components where required.
  • Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
  • Investigate and resolve defects through root cause analysis and debugging.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvements across the codebase.
  • Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
  • Use AI-powered development tools where appropriate to improve software delivery and engineering productivity throughout the SDLC.
  • Strong experience with modern C++:  C++17/C++20.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design and software architecture.
  • Experience with debugging, performance optimization, and testing.
  • Knowledge of Git and Agile development practices.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in medical devices or other regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 or similar standards.
  • Experience with hardware integration, embedded systems, or device communication.
