About the Role

As a Senior C++ Developer, you’ll work with cutting-edge technology to enhance and maintain backend servers for real-time trading applications. You will collaborate with business counterparts and other technical teams to deliver dynamic solutions on a Windows platform, contributing to mission-critical systems used in the financial sector.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend servers in a C++ environment
Collaborate with business counterparts to deliver technical solutions
Contribute during all stages of the project lifecycle, from planning to production
Troubleshoot and address issues with QA and support teams
Provide production support by addressing critical client-facing issues as they arise
Continuously improve performance, efficiency, and reliability of systems
Strong English Skills (B2)

Qualifications & Skills

5+ years of experience in C++ programming
Strong knowledge of structural and object-oriented programming, including concepts, data structures, patterns, templates, and multithreaded programming
Proficient in version control systems (e.g., GIT)
Good knowledge of databases and basic SQL
Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
Strong communication skills to engage with teams across both IT and business units
Recognize and prioritize critical production or client-facing issues

Plusses

Exposure to finance, especially Fixed Income.
Experience with Perl and shell scripting.
Understanding of communication protocol fundamentals.
