Senior BMC Helix Consultant ( 1 Month)

Müller's Solutions is seeking a Senior BMC Helix IT Asset Management & Discovery Consultant to join our expert team. In this role, you will lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of BMC Helix IT Asset Management and Discovery solutions for our clients. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their asset management needs and deliver tailored solutions that enhance IT operations, asset visibility, and lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of BMC Helix IT Asset Management and Discovery modules.
• Configure and customize the BMC Helix platform to align with client requirements and industry best practices.
• Conduct assessments and workshops to gather business and technical requirements.
• Develop integration strategies to connect BMC Helix with other ITSM and enterprise systems.
• Provide expert guidance on IT asset lifecycle management, discovery processes, and data accuracy.
• Troubleshoot, resolve issues, and optimize performance of the BMC Helix solutions.
• Deliver training sessions and documentation to enable client teams to effectively use the platform.
• Stay current with BMC Helix product updates and IT asset management trends to continuously improve client solutions.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in IT Asset Management and Discovery implementation with hands-on expertise in BMC Helix IT Asset Management and Discovery modules, including asset discovery, CMDB integration, application dependency mapping, and infrastructure/network discovery.
• Ability to independently build, deploy, and configure containers on-premises (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Podman) and set up discovery infrastructure, scanners, probes, and collectors.
• Strong knowledge of IT asset management best practices, ITIL frameworks, and integrating BMC Helix with ITSM and enterprise systems.
• Proficient in Linux/Unix (especially Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6/7), network discovery protocols (SNMP, SSH, WMI, PowerShell, APIs), and identifying software versions, dependencies, and asset relationships.
• Experience with software license compliance, software asset management, legacy infrastructure troubleshooting, and customer engagement during PoC and implementation phases preferred.
• BMC Helix certifications and GCC/MENA experience are desirable.
• Must be able to work onsite in Oman.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills with ability to lead cross-team projects.
