Job Details

Responsibilities

• Monitor the entire IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, applications, and associated jobs, operating around the clock, seven days a week assuring a stable and secure production environment for apexportal applications.

•Analyze alerts in real-time, prioritize issues, troubleshoot, manage escalations, handle incidents, and resolve problems promptly.

•Conduct proactive maintenance to safeguard the health of IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring adherence to availability targets for apexportal applications and systems.

•Take full ownership of events from detection through resolution, including comprehensive reporting.

•Mentor junior associates and staff, providing guidance and support in their duties.

•Transfer knowledge to team members and contribute to best practices.

•Install monitoring agents, monitor capacity levels, and generate reports.

•Collaborate with Application Support, Development, Storage, Server, Database, and VM teams to address issues and optimize performance.

•Review system event logs, identify configuration errors, and manage system software verification.

•Monitor usage levels, identify runaway processes, and configure alerts for Oracle and SQL databases.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

3+ years experience with proficiency in monitoring systems and tools.

Previous 24 X 7 operations experience

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Dynatrace, SolarWinds, ServiceNow ITOM, and similar tools.

Experience with Microsoft SQL and IIS
