Senior Associate Lawyer l Capital Markets & Financial Services Regulation

We are currently seeking to recruit a motivated and hands-on Senior Associate lawyer to join our dynamic Capital Markets & Financial Services Regulation Practice Group.

Our Capital Markets & Financial Services Regulation practice combines high-end transactional expertise, specialist regulatory knowledge and first-hand experience in the operation, governance and supervision of financial market infrastructures.

Job description 

As a Senior Associate in our Capital Markets & Financial Services Regulation team, you will play a key role in advising domestic and international banks, financial institutions, investment firms, asset managers, fintech companies and listed issuers on a broad range of regulatory and transactional matters.

You will manage complex client matters, take ownership of workstreams and coordinate project teams, while working closely with partners and mentoring junior lawyers. You will contribute to high-profile mandates involving financial services regulation, capital markets transactions, corporate governance and regulatory investigations, delivering commercially focused, pragmatic and high-quality legal advice in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment. Finally, you will be expected to contribute to business development initiatives and will play an active role in the continued growth of the practice.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law
• Post graduate degree (LLM or equivalent) in the relevant field of law will be considered an asset
• Qualified to work as an Attorney at law in Greece
• 5-8 years of working experience in the field of Capital Markets and Financial Services Regulation

• Attentive to clients’ business and needs
• Native Greek speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
