Senior Associate – Issuers & Programmes

Global Securities area is part of Global Markets, within the Structured Products business line. Its mission is to design, establish, and manage the legal and operational frameworks that enable BBVA to issue structured securities, repackaging transactions, and securitization vehicles, ensuring that products, issuance platforms and programs operate efficiently.

Support the establishment, maintenance and governance of issuers and structured securities issuance programmes, ensuring the availability of issuance capabilities and compliance with regulatory, legal and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the lifecycle of issuers and issuance programmes.

• Coordinate updates to programme documentation and legal frameworks.

• Support relationships with external advisers, listing agents, paying agents and rating agencies.

• Coordinate regulatory approvals and governance processes.

• Monitor programme capacities, operational readiness and ongoing maintenance.

• Contribute to the development of new issuance capabilities across jurisdictions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Law, Business Administration or related field.

• Approximately 5 years of experience in capital markets, structured products, debt capital markets or securities issuance.

• Good understanding of issuance programmes, legal documentation and regulatory frameworks.

• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.

• Fluent in English and Spanish.

• Comfortable working across multiple jurisdictions, regulatory frameworks and multidisciplinary teams in an international environment.
