Roles & Responsibilities: -
PwC actively works as a management advisor to leading telecommunications and IT market players across the value
chain, including fixed, cable and convergent service providers, mobile operators, tower operators, telecom regulators,
industry bodies etc.
Our Management Consulting- TMT practice in India focuses on bringing together our Indian and global network
resources around our clients’ needs, creating teams to help respond to challenges around almost every dimension of
their business. Our clients are majorly spread across India, Africa, Middle East and Southeast Asia.
A brief description of the work and roles and responsibilities are as below:
⮚ Candidate to have strong subject matter knowledge (telecom domain) and think creatively to solve large-scale
problems for telecom clients across India and global markets. We look for self-driven individuals that can work
effectively in an unstructured work environment and work very closely with project teams to support clients’
needs.
⮚ Understand and define the business problem and co-create the proposed solution. Leverage essential
knowledge of the leading practices in the industry to develop project scope and approach to solve client
problems
⮚ Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis including data mining, analysis, financial models, perform market
and secondary research to collect business intelligence and insights
⮚ Work collaboratively with the team in developing project deliverables meeting and exceeding PwCs client
service and quality standards
⮚ Deliver all client commitments within time/budget constraints
⮚ Drive business development opportunities by proactively translating thought leadership and delivery execution
to follow on project opportunities and analysis into consulting
⮚ Develop internal knowledge collateral to help drive the thought leadership within and outside the firm
⮚ Willing to travel internationally and work on site 50-70% of the time at client locations.
Key skills
⮚ Understanding of the telco capex and opex areas, capex planning, budgeting (3+9F, 6+6, 9+3F) and
management including spend analysis, capex and opex optimization and prioritization
⮚ Experience in end-to-end asset lifecycle management for telecom and IT assets- Asset Lifecycle Management
(ALM) processes from acquire to retire, systems & tools driving efficiency in end to end ALM stages for Telecom
operators. Understanding of IMF, BoM, BoQ, location standardization, categories, taxonomy , FAR analysis and
reconstruction.
⮚ Data analytics- Good knowledge and hands on experience on data visualization tools , Tableau , power BI, and
data analytics tools like Alteryx, SQL, python. Exposure of ETL, data modelling and driving data quality
enhancement.
⮚ Telecom Network Experience- Working level experience on latest technologies like 4G, 5G, - Experience in

Cloud and telecom network virtualization & orchestration, NFV, SDN Cloud RAN, network automation , self-
optimization of networks.

⮚ Emerging technologies- Cloud, IoT, Telecom frameworks (eTOM etc)
