The ServiceNow Team is responsible for operating and customizing/developing Enterprise Service Management and custom applications on the ServiceNow platform.

As Senior ServiceNow Architect of the HR Service Delivery team you will shape reliable, scalable ServiceNow solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop tailored solutions in close collaboration with process owners and product owners to meet growing information needs.
• Ensure implementations remain close to the ServiceNow standard to avoid technical debt and make optimal use of future platform enhancements.
• Advise and support ZEISS internal departments with functional and technical expertise.
• Support the collection, analysis, and structuring of requirements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant specifications, governance, and compliance requirements in solution design.
• Work closely with other ServiceNow product teams and actively contribute within the DevOps team.
• Use AI technologies to fulfill role responsibilities, improve solution design, automate tasks, and enhance efficiency and quality.
• Explore, evaluate, and empower the adoption of new AI technologies within the product team and the broader ServiceNow platform.

Education & Work Experience

• Completed a degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Solution Architect with a focus on HRSD.
• In-depth expertise in ServiceNow architecture and in leading implementation projects.
• Extensive experience integrating third-party systems using common integration technologies.
• Ideally, a background in ServiceNow or full-stack development.
• ITIL Foundation certification, complemented by project management knowledge, is advantageous.
• Experience in agile and hybrid working environments, combined with strong team orientation and a clear focus on goals.
• Basic knowledge of AI technologies and their practical application.
• Basic understanding of AI ServiceNow platform capabilities, including NowAssist.
