Senior Architect for Workplace Projects

Role description:

This role will form an integral part of our Global Excellence Centre (GEC) – Arcadis’ centralized and fully integrated project delivery group. Our GEC is made up of more than 3,000 talented individuals working in offices across Romania, India and Philippines, providing Capability, Capacity and a Competitive Advantage across a wide array of unique projects and services, in collaboration with our global businesses.

Arcadis' Romania office is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join our dynamic Workplace team, contributing to a range of high-profile projects. In this role, you’ll oversee the architectural design and technical development, ensuring that our workplace solutions meet the highest standards of quality, innovation, and functionality.

Role accountabilities:

• Lead the production, and coordination of technical drawings through all project phases—from Concept Design through to Construction Documentation.
• Oversee the development and integration of design solutions, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and regulations.
• Manage multiple projects throughout the United States and Canada, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to design intent, quality standards, and client objectives.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to facilitate the smooth delivery of projects.
• Monitor project timelines, and deliverables to ensure alignment with scope and performance goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Professional degree in Architecture.
• 10 years + of experience, with a proven track record in Workplace design and project delivery .
• Previous experience on projects within the United States and/or Canada preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with experience in BIM coordination (has at least 5 years Revit project experience).
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to guide teams through complex technical challenges. 
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality architectural solutions.
