A Series A fintech company is looking for a Senior Android Software Engineer to join a product-focused team building consumer financial products. What You'll Do
Design, implement, and maintain a core consumer-facing Android application
Assist in building and scaling platform infrastructure
Pragmatically solve complex technical and product problems
Contribute to product design decisions and overall direction
Communicate and collaborate effectively across engineering, product, and business teams
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers on the Android team
What We're Looking For
Required:
2+ years of experience in mobile engineering
Strong Kotlin expertise with Jetpack Compose and modern Android architecture (MVVM / Clean Architecture)
Hands-on experience building and shipping consumer-facing mobile apps (B2C experience is a must)
Experience with backend data formats and APIs common in mobile apps, including protobufs, REST, and gRPC
Experience integrating Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore/Realtime Database, Cloud Messaging)
Proficiency with Android testing strategies (unit and instrumentation/UI tests) and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for mobile
Strong communication skills and a track record of cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, and business stakeholders
Nice to Have:
Mentorship or technical leadership experience guiding junior mobile engineers

Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $160,000 – $200,000 USD annually
