Job Designation: Senior Android Developer

Job Location: Mumbai- Ghatkopar 

Experience: 2-5Years.

Purplle.com has grown 400% YoY for the last three years and has captured 15-20% market share in the online beauty market. We are looking for people who are excited to build technology capabilities in the mobile and e-commerce space at scale. 

Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech 

Preferred: People from IIT, NIT And only from startups or .com companies. 

(Look from companies like Samsung, Cibage, Quikr.com, App labs or e -commerce companies. Taxi for sure, trulymadly, ,Ola cabs, infoedge, housing, jabong, fab furnish, pepper fry, goibibo, urban laders, monster, times , coupon dunia , garbstr, uber, stazilla.com, holachef, tinyowl) 

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. 

• Work with outside data sources and API's 

• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. 

• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance. 

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. 

Desired Skills: 

• 3+ years of software development experience 

• 2+ years of Android development.

• Have published at least one original Android app 

• Experience with Android SDK 

• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON

• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs 

• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies 

• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
