HIBBETT RETAIL, Inc. has a full-time opening for a Senior Analyst, Systems in Birmingham, AL
Duties are to analyze application gaps and new solutions where needed. Perform impact analysis of various Ecommerce applications/systems as a result of change and provide solutions. Define appropriate techno-functional solution design in collaborations with architect and business users. Translate business requirements and capabilities into technical solutions in collaboration with business analysts, architects, and business partners. Analyze complex Ecommerce, locate, and store data systems and document data elements, data flow relationships, and dependencies. Develop code, test plans, expected results, and test data at a program level. Coordinate and perform system testing and assist with quality assurance and user acceptance testing. Review requirement documents and approve technical specifications. Interface with business users and management. Assist with project estimation activities. Provide the critical, time sensitive, Ecommerce integration application support. Protect the company's assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.
Minimum requirements are a Bachelor's or its foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or related IT or Engineering discipline. Plus 60 months experience in In position offered or similar IT occupation. Experience must be post -bachelor's and progressive and must include 5 years in developing code, test plans, expected results, and test the solution developed, in designing, developing & testing mid-large applications using Informatica/ETL, in data analysis, data transformation, conceptual data modeling, data transformation and metadata management and 2 years in architecting an ETL solution and data conversion strategy and in a Retail Multi Channel organization. HYBRID – CAN WORK REMOTELY UP TO 50% AND 50% AT HEADQUARTERS LOCATION UP TO 50%. THE EMPLOYEE MUST LIVE WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE OF THE HEADQUARTERS LOCATION.
