The team you will be a part of

The Supply and Logistics team is responsible for keeping the appropriate levels of materials and/or stock supplies with the aim to maximize inventory control and company sales. Organizes deliveries to meet given deadlines and customer expectations. Supervises and tracks the flow of materials and products from suppliers throughout the organization.

This role in summary

This role  is a member of the Final Mile team within the broader Customer Fulfillment & Supply Chain organization. The Senior Analyst, Final Mile Installation, role is instrumental in the experience we provide to our Home and Builder customers and  is responsible for overseeing and managing the overall quality and competency of installation of appliances for their deliveries. The person in this role will work alongside other members of the Final Mile team, internal process partners including members from Sales and Customer Operations This position is responsible for the overall framework that defines quality installation, measures installation quality and accuracy, identifies and drives improvements in installation quality, and for creating installation standards for Builders and overseeing governance when municipalities or states change installation regulations.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Establish a framework for vetting the installation capabilities of existing and new Final Mile providers
  • Establish the tools to measure installation quality and the operating system by which performance is reviewed, understood and improved
  • Evaluate tools and technology that can be leveraged to proactively identify and diagnose installation quality failures
  • Vet and oversee unique customization to standard installation practices as requested by Builder customers
  • Partner with internal teams on new product introduction into Final Mile that may require awareness, training or changes to existing installation services
  • Participate in the Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA) process related to installation quality issues
  • Ensure that macro-level regulatory changes that impact installation are understood and translated into actions for installation guidelines
  • Provide bi-directional feedback on WHR's training content for installation and for the design of new products that may impact installations
  • Serve as a SME to support decision-making or arbitration when new regulatory changes or local code changes impact installation
  • Serve as SME or connector to internal Whirlpool experts for Final Mile providers for any installation questions or issues they are experiencing in the field

Minimum requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in appliance installation, service management, factory process management, or similar role overseeing more complex trade performance management
  • Possesses a customer service and experience mindset
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and with accountability
  • Past experience in delivering quantifiable results in improved service & customer-experience outcomes
  • Strong analytical and project management skills are required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into management operating systems (MOS)
  • Ability to network cross-functionally across multiple organizations with a proven track record of winning the confidence and trust of colleagues
  • Financial analysis related to business needs
  • Ability to travel up to 30%

  • Final mile appliance installation experience
  • 2+ years in creating training content
  • Builder jobsite experience
  • Experience in creating work standards and KPI from a blank slate
  • Experience in deploying AI tools to automate, simplify or standardize complex or redundant workflows
  • Lean training
