Senior Analyst, Google Threat Intelligence, Mandiant (Bahasa)

Responsibilities

• Identify, collect, and analyze intelligence from sources, including OSINT, deep and dark web forums, cyber-criminal social media platforms, and other channels used by threat actors conducting scams impacting Indonesia.
  
• Evaluate and fine tune internal tools and best practices to detect, track and validate sites, infrastructure, and emerging activities relevant to scams impacting Indonesia.
• Work with customers to determine their intelligence needs and requirements and prepare and deliver briefings and reports to the customers' executives, security team, and fellow analysts.
• Present tactical and intelligence about threat groups, the methodologies, and the motivations behind their activity and convey the importance of findings to a variety of audiences.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in data analytics, cybersecurity, technology research, anti-abuse, policy, or related fields.
• Experience identifying, tracking, or mapping illicit scam infrastructure to centralized threat actor groups.
• Experience with the consumption, processing, or analysis of Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) within an operational environment, supporting monitoring, detection, or response.
• Ability to communicate in Bahasa Indonesia fluently to support regional threat intelligence efforts.

Preferred qualifications:

• 8 years of experience in data analytics, cybersecurity, technology research, anti-abuse, policy, or related fields.
• Experience in analyzing network, endpoint, and security logs or telemetry for security investigations and threat hunting.
• Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders both verbally and in report writing.
• Experience in deploying AI-driven threat hunting and high-volume takedown strategies.

Additional Information

This position is based in our Jakarta office but requires regular onsite, client-facing work at a designated client location in Jakarta (currently mandated at 3 days per week).
