Job Description: 

Assess the credit ratings of banks and non-bank financial institutions in Thailand, applying Fitch’s quantitative and qualitative criteria. Write and present rating reports for Fitch’s credit committee review. Assist in research on industry developments and contribute to sector reports on financial institutions in Thailand. Participate in regional credit committees to review other banking systems in Asia Pacific. Communicate Fitch’s rating opinions to issuers, arrangers and investors.

Requirements: 

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Banking, Economics, Finance, Statistics or Engineering, and a Master’s degree in a finance-related field or CFA is preferred;
• 5-10 years experience in fixed income or equity research, credit analysis or audit, with knowledge of the Thai bank sector and the regulatory environment for financial institutions;
• Familiarity with financial statement analysis of banks and non-bank financial institutions along with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw well-supported conclusions;
• Experience in analytical report writing skills in English;
• Ability to communicate confidently in English and Thai as well as the ability to present analytical conclusions clearly and concisely;
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
