Senior AML Specialist

Role Purpose:

Engage with different local and Group stakeholders to ensure strong compliance framework for AML policy and fulfil required Risk and Control library and ensure that non-compliance risks are being properly managed to secure the business against Financial and Legal damages.
Handle Group and Vodacom audits and the new Governance and reporting structure required for AML
Supporting first line business management through providing the required AML support to various business functions to ensure business objectives are delivered supporting the growth of VF financial services. 
Deliver the required AML training requirements across all high risk teams including Retail and Distribution channels across the organization

Responsible for Developing, implementing, monitoring and controlling AML framework companywide and fulfilling their detailed programs and risk assessments to secure Vodafone Egypt against risks of breaching relevant  laws and legislations.

What you’ll do

•    Own the risk and controls library for the AML framework , define plans and execute on-going assessment/audit exercises and effective management to observed risks.
•    Handle Group and Vodacom audits and the new Governance and reporting structure required for AML
•    Develop and support Vodafone’s team through strong communication and training model on AML risks and regulations .     
•    Deliver the required AML training requirements across all high risk teams including Retail and Distribution channels across the organization
•    Deliver AML awareness programs through different channels across the organization 
•    Supporting first line business management through providing the required AML support to various business functions to ensure business objectives are delivered supporting the growth of VF financial services. 

Skills Required:

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
•    Previous experience in Compliance/AML/risk management
•    Ability to lead & influence cross functional teams
•    Excellent communication, presentation & reporting skills
•    Excellent problem solving skills
Must have technical / professional qualifications: 
•    B.S of Business administration or equivalent degree
•    Previous experience in Compliance/audit/risk management
•    English language fluency  
•    Strong communication, presentation skills
•    Proficient with MS PowerPoint and report writing
