Senior AI Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AI Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building robust, scalable, and innovative engineering products and platforms. This role requires exceptional technical depth, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions.
As a Senior AI Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining AI-powered tools that enhance our business operations and decision-making processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, data scientists, product managers, and trading professionals, to deliver cutting-edge solutions that drive efficiency and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain fullstack AI-driven tools and applications to support various business functions, including trading, analytics, and operations.
- Leverage machine learning and AI technologies to build intelligent systems that enhance decision-making and automate workflows.
- Build and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems, APIs, and frontend interfaces for seamless user experiences.
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of AI tools and platforms through rigorous testing, monitoring, and optimization.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, share best practices, and contribute to the overall technical strategy of the team.
- Clearly articulate technical concepts and project updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering alignment and collaboration across teams.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of professional engineering experience, with a strong focus on client-facing product development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or similar
- Drive architectural decisions for the next generation of development tooling
- Strong backend development skills with experience in frameworks like Node.js, or Spring Boot.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and data pipelines.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building tools and platforms for trading desks or financial institutions.
- Familiarity with algorithmic trading systems and risk management tools.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience in financial services or hedge fund environment
The estimated base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $250,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
