Responsibilities:

• Manage cyber and network sensor activity in our Security Operations Center

• Correlate security events and incidents using enterprise-wide data sources

• Perform cyber incident triage, determining scope, urgency, and potential impact

• Identify vulnerabilities and recommend expeditious remediation strategies

• Track cyber incidents from detection through resolution

• Analyze and assess damage to data and infrastructure

• Conduct cyber engineering trend analysis and reporting

Qualifications:

Required:

• A.S. or B.S. degree in a related field, or equivalent experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant cybersecurity experience

• CNDSP-IR certification (GCIH, CSIH, or CEH)

• IAT Level II certification (GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security)

• DoD 8140.03 CSSP Analyst Certification

• Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems

• Knowledge of current COTS Cybersecurity technologies

• Understanding of database and operating system security

• Familiarity with latest security principles, techniques, and protocols

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to interact effectively with senior management

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Expertise in intrusion detection methodologies and malware analysis

• Knowledge of system and application security threats and vulnerabilities

• Experience with cloud security technologies (SIEM, IDS/IPS, SOAR, etc.)

Desired:

• B.S. degree in a related field

• Experience working in a Cybersecurity Operations Center

• Familiarity with disaster recovery and continuity of operations plans

• Knowledge of incident categories, responses, and timelines

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$63,300-$129,700
