About the role

MSS Security is seeking a Security Officer for a Full-time permanent position to join our team in Ulverstone. This role is ideal for those who are committed to safety, security and providing exceptional service.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Remain alert and observe surroundings to identify and report potential risks or suspicious behaviours.

• Monitor CCTV footage, access control and radio communication systems.

• Write incident reports and record occurrences where required.

• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols.

• Provide exceptional customer service.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deescalate tense situations.

• A readiness, confidence and assertiveness to manage challenging situations.

Requirements:

• Full Australian working rights.

• Valid Tasmanian Security licence.

• Valid First Aid and CPR certificates (or willing to obtain).

• 24/7 availability to work a rotating roster.
