About the Role

MSS Security is seeking a Full-Time Security Officer - Mobile Patrol to join our team at a mining site in Mount Isa. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting mobile patrols across the mining site, responding to incidents, monitoring site security, and helping maintain a safe and secure environment for people and property.

Local applicants are strongly encouraged to apply; however, a relocation package is also available, including flights and two weeks of paid accommodation.

This position offers an attractive 105k annual package.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct mobile patrols and occasional foot patrols across designated areas of the mining site.
• Perform lock-up and unlock procedures.
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorised access and potential security threats.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance.
• Complete accurate and detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation.

Skills & Experience

• Full Australian Working rights
• Valid QLD drivers' licence
• Valid QLD Security Licence – unarmed 
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Availability to work 12 hours shifts (day and night)
