About the role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Security Officer to join our team at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Brisbane on a casual basis.

  • Certificate II in Security Operations

  • Current QLD Security Officer (unarmed)(monitoring)(crowd control) license

  • Current First Aid Certificate

  • Valid unencumbered QLD manual drivers licence

  • A genuine passion for providing excellent customer service and a “can-do” attitude

  • Flexible availability to work across 24/7 roster including day/afternoon/night and weekend shifts

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the security industry

  • Demonstrated knowledge of fire control, evacuation and emergency response procedures

  • Experience with CCTV and access control operation, DXS highly regarded

  • Intermediate computer skills

  • Manage Conflict Through Negotiation Certificate or equivalent desirable

  • Ability to respond to emergency situations

  • Full, unlimited work rights in Australia
