About the role:
At MSS Security, we are seeking professional and reliable Full-Time Security Officers to join our Defence operations. You will support the protection of Defence personnel, assets, and critical infrastructure through patrols, access control, and maintaining a strong, visible security presence. This is a highly sensitive environment where professionalism, discretion, integrity, accountability, and strong situational awareness are essential, along with the ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions.

This role offers the opportunity to directly support Australia's national security and the protection of critical Defence operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage access control and conduct regular foot patrols to maintain site security and awareness

• Engage professionally with Defence personnel, contractors, and visitors while maintaining a strong security presence

• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and suspicious activity

• Ensure compliance with Defence security procedures and site protocols at all times

• Accurately complete incident reports, shift logs, and required documentation in line with site standards

Requirements:

• Australian Citizenship - required for Defence security clearance eligibility

• ACT or NSW Security License

• Full Open Driver's License

• NV1 Clearance Required

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to remain calm under pressure with strong attention to detail

• High integrity and accountability across all security duties
