We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our retail store, staff, and customers. The ideal candidate will help prevent theft, monitor suspicious activity, and enforce store policies to maintain a safe shopping environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor store premises via patrols.

• Prevent shoplifting and internal theft through active observation and intervention.

• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms.

• Assist in conflict resolution and de-escalation of tense situations.

• Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports as required.

• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Greet customers and provide assistance when needed, maintaining a visible and approachable presence.

REQUIREMENTS

• Secondary school diploma. 

• Proven experience in security field preferred.

• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Physically fit and able to stand/walk for extended periods.
