Role 

We are looking for a Security Officer to join our team. In this role, you will help protect our guests, colleagues, property, and assets by maintaining order and ensuring compliance with hotel rules and safety procedures. You will play a vital part in creating a safe and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities 

• Monitor the property and ensure compliance with security procedures

• Inspect entry points and control access for colleagues, visitors, and suppliers

• Maintain order and prevent disturbances, theft, or inappropriate behaviour

• Conduct regular patrols across designated areas and report any irregularities

• Respond to emergencies such as fire, flooding, or severe weather events

• Provide first aid and CPR when required

• Record and report incidents, including lost and found items

• Guide visitors and guests to appropriate areas when needed

• Ensure security equipment and systems are functioning properly

Requirements  

• Minimum of one year of experience in a security role

• Basic English communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Completion of secondary education (Grade 8 or equivalent)

• Knowledge of rescue procedures, CPR, fire safety, and security protocols
