Security Expert

Your day to day:

Coding, data, technology – that’s your world! Be part of our Digital Operations Teams and shape new and innovative solutions for the transformation of Vodafone towards the Digital Telco. 

In this role, you will be responsible to make sure that software products meet an appropriate technology security level and demonstrate that all potential risks are being mitigated to an acceptable level in order to assure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of systems and data. Therefore, as the Security Expert, you will drive the security assessments for our Digital Operations Team’s products, while collaborating closely with security teams as well as software development departments.  
 

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

• Manage and carry out technically oriented security assessments for digital software solutions. 
• Be the go-to subject matter expert for Cyber Security and work closely with Solution Architects, Designers and Developers across the entire SDLC, ensuring that security is integrated at every stage.
• Scope and coordinate security penetration testing prior to product launch.
• Provide guidance to development teams how to improve the security aspects of their solutions.
• Elaborate, drive and implement ideas to improve the security assessment processes. 

With these skills you are a great candidate:

• Degree in Computer Science, a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Profound experience in Cyber Security and good foundational experience in software development and software design. 
• Experience with security assessment support.
• Good knowledge of securing cloud environments, web services, CI/CD pipelines, container security, connectivity, user access management and networks.  
• Previous experience in complex, highly matrixed organizations.
• Good process and project management skills. 
• Problem solving and solution-oriented thinking.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
