The dispatcher will monitor radio and phone traffic and dispatch security officers and management as need to respond to security requests. The dispatcher will also monitor CCTV systems as well as emergency response systems and intrusion alarm systems, dispatching staff as needed.

Responsibilities
o *Dispatch appropriate response to alarms and security emergencies.o *Serve as the liaison with emergency responders over the phone until their arrival on campuso Using the computerized system, ensure all residents have checked in daily as prescribed in the resident manualo *Monitor the transportation staff to ensure timely pickups and drop offs of residents and adjusts drivers as needed to ensure this occurs.o Perform extensive walking patrols of the campus when neededo The above covers the most significant responsibilities of the position. It does not, however, exclude other duties, which would be in conformity with the level of the position. Completes special projects as assigned.o *Ensure that calendar events are completed in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
o *Must Exhibit and foster outstanding customer service skills at all times.o *Must operate as a team player at all times.o *Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.o Obtain BLS, EMT, or First Responder certification.o Must be professional, proactive, collaborative, conscientious and results-oriented individual.o Must have an optimistic and positive demeanor, excellent oral and written communication skills, good intuition and able to adapt to changing priorities and display good, sound judgment with a sense of humor. o Superb organizational skills. Must have solid analytical skills. Must be creative and proactive yet disciplined, discriminating and able to streamline work volume in order to maintain bottom line efforts in midst of multi-tasking and daily re-prioritizing. o Must be motivated to learn and flexible to change.o Computer literacy required; experience with databases, Windows, Word, Excel, and databases.
