Job description

Pavilion Entertainment a new media company incorporated in Trinidad and Tobago. It is dedicated to the original production of media projects and the regional distribution of both original and franchise programming. 

Transforming and advancing the regional media industry will not be easy so we need a team that will work efficiently and professionally in a fast paced, results-oriented environment. As such, the following competencies are critical to all hiring decisions:

The Second AD's main function will be to ensure that all of the First AD's orders and directions are carried out. Primary duties and responsibilities will be to:

• Prepare and draw up the next day's call sheet, (which involves confirming the details of who needs to be on set and at what time, the transport arrangements, extras required etc.) and ensure that everyone knows his/her call time

• Ensure that all Actors are ready for filming, which includes coordinating transport requirements as well as make-up and wardrobe timetables

• Organise and supervise rehearsals 

• Coordinating extras, sometimes in large numbers at short notice, and planning their transport to, and activities on, the set or location

• Maintain order by directing civilians and general public during shooting

Qualifications and competencies include:

• Bachelor degree in Media, Fine Arts, Management or related field, or at least 6 years’ production experience

• Excellent organisational and time-management skills

• Ability to work effectively under pressure

• Ability to be flexible and resourceful

• Strong attention to detail

• Working knowledge the relevant Health and Safety legislation and procedures
