Responsibilities:

  • Strengthening our product-focused research and innovation team. 

  • Responsible for planning, organizing and performing research projects. 

  • Creation of early phase concepts and their practical implementation. 

  • Processes project inquiries during initial contacts with customers. 

  • Assists in analyzing and interpreting possible future technology and market trends. 

  • Works in cross-functional interdisciplinary resource teams from other functional areas and supports ongoing projects. 

  • Maintains documentation in accordance with customer requirements and notified body requirements. 

  • Ensure that tasks in his area of responsibility are processed in a quality and timely manner. 

  • Ensures compliance with company policies, safety/ergonomics standards and good housekeeping practices. 

Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed scientific or technical studies (master's degree or PhD)
     

  • Several years of experience in development in the life sciences sector (preferably chemical, pharmaceutical or medical development)

  • Product development experience (preferably coatings or drug delivery systems for medical applications) 

  • Scientific work / Design of experiments 

  • Research and development planning as well as its implementation and documentation 

  • Project management skills 

  • Interdisciplinary work and understanding/knowledge of medical applications 

  • In-depth knowledge of medical technology and Initial experience in business development 

  • Communication and teamwork skills

  • Commitment, initiative and willingness to perform
