Scholars International Language School is seeking to appoint an outstanding and motivated Science Teacher/HoD for the 2026/27 academic year. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Science lessons while providing effective leadership to the department, driving high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Science lessons across the secondary phase.
• Lead and develop the Science department, ensuring excellence in teaching and learning.
• Monitor student progress and implement strategies to raise attainment.
• Support curriculum planning, assessment, and departmental development.
• Mentor colleagues and promote collaborative practice.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field with a recognised teaching qualification.
• Leadership experience or the potential to lead a department.
• Strong organisational, communication, and classroom management skills.
