[What the role is]

School of Applied Science - Continuing Education and Training (CET) Associate Lecturer

[What you will be working on]

•    Teach relevant subjects in Continuing Education Training (CET) programmes
•    Design and develop course materials for Continuing Education Training (CET) programmes
•    Deliver planned curriculum to adult learners on scheduled weekday evenings or on weekends and participate in assessment activities
•    Take up the role of Programme Coordinator for CET module when required

[What we are looking for]

•    Relevant qualifications in Science and Technology, or its equivalent disciplines  
•    At least five years of relevant industry and/or research experience in areas related to Science and Technology. 
•    Training and Adult Education (TAE) Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) such as Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA), Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE) will be advantageous 
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with people at all levels 
•    Sound planning and organising skills, practical and responsible 
•    Proficient in IT skills
