Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Specialist who can bring their specialist knowledge to Supermicro. In this role, as a key member of our SAP specialist team, you play an important role in performing moderate to complex programming, testing and debugging functions related to the implementation and maintenance of SAP modules. You will have an opportunity to contribute to enhancing our IT tools, methods and approaches.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with the developers to ensure solution meets business requirements

• Work with the end users to understand routine job requirements and achieve user satisfaction

• Work with the team lead, users, and management to design applications and resolve business related concerns

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of business processes, procedures, solutions and systems in order to define the specifications and requirements of implementation

• May perform matrix management for local/global projects

• Support integration to 3rd party/auxiliary applications

• Manage/design and improve codes of already existing applications and provide support as needed

• Attend workshops with business users to collect requirements and facilitate the development of qualify functional and technical specifications

• Anticipate, identity, troubleshoot and resolve development issues

Qualifications:

• Degree in a computer-based discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems) or a technical discipline (e.g. Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent combination

• 5+ years experience with related SAP modules

• SAP or industry functional certifications a plus

• Detailed knowledge of systems and business processes within SAP modules

• Ability to perform hands-on configurations in SAP modules

• Ability to write highly detailed functional specifications and new custom functionality for vendors and developers

• Experience in the integration of SAP and external solutions

• Excellent analytical and computer skills

• Highly responsive professional with the ability to build confidence and trust with colleagues and internal customers in a multi-cultural environment

• Working knowledge of project management practices and methodologies

• Strong skills in the areas of communication, problem analysis, delivery on results, self-development, adaptability and flexibility, and global perspective

• Must be knowledgeable with all aspects of SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle)
