SAP Consolidations Managing Consultant (BPC) : Must live close to major US Airport

SAP Financial Consolidations Sr. Managing Consultant will be responsible for successful delivery of the consolidation solutions to our clients. The candidate should have excellent insights to functional and technical aspect of SAP software components which includes SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) 7.0 / 7.5. This role will apply functional and integration knowledge of SAP ERP tools, cross finance skills, consolidations and BI systems and should have managed delivery of these solutions.

Responsibilities include, using knowledge of leading practices for accounting function. Should have strong insights to General Ledger, Asset accounting, controlling and profitability process areas. Exposure to compliance and statutory reporting requirements, IFRS and GAAP accounting rules is a must.

Candidate should be able to advice clients on solution architecture, assist in sales and had experience in sizing of these projects. Candidate should have prior hands on experience around account reconciliations between legal entities reconciliations issues, improve closing process and be able to liaison between client auditors and counterparts.

Use of formal system implementation methodologies during project prep, requirements gathering, design, build/test and deployment is required. Product configuration knowledge of the SAP FI-GL, SAP Fixed Assets, SAP BPC and SAP BI tool is a must.

Key Capabilities of Role:
Design and interpretation of reporting architecture for SAP BI
Understanding of SAP ECC data structures and interfaces to SAP BI
BPC Consolidation administration experience
Design and configuration experience for Interunit Eliminations, reposting, allocation, organizational changes, consolidation of investments etc
Report and Input schedules design and development
Knowledge of Script Logic

Exposure to other EPM tools like Cognos, Hyperion or other consolidations like SEM-BCS and process integration between financial and planning scenarios is a plus.

Certificate in Finance/ Accounting / MBA /CPA is strongly desired along with previous financial accounting and analysis experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, ability to interact with senior managers and executives of client companies and a proven track record managing, designing and implementing change in complex businesses. The candidate must be a team player, able to lead or manage a project as well as be able to work independently.

Required

• High School Diploma/GED
• At least 4 years experience in Financial Consolidation and Reporting Process knowledge
• At least 4 years experience in SAP BPC (formerly OutlookSoft), SAP BCS or similar Consolidation solution experience
• Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
• English: Basic knowledge

Preferred

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 6 years experience in Financial Consolidation and Reporting Process knowledge
• At least 6 years experience in SAP BPC (formerly OutlookSoft), SAP BCS or similar Consolidation solution experience
