Description

In this role, you will design, develop, and implement large-scale enterprise business applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) using modern cloud-native architectures. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build secure, scalable microservices and rapid prototypes that solve critical operational challenges. Additionally, you will contribute to technical frameworks and engineering best practices to ensure the continuous delivery of high-quality SAP solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience developing large-scale enterprise business applications using Java, Node.js, or Python on the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).
Experience with the SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) Model and building database entities using Core Data Services (CDS) models.
Experience programming in at least two development environments: JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js) or Java (Spring/Spring Boot).
Experience designing and building cloud-native microservices architectures with a strong focus on secure programming practices.
Experience implementing event-driven architectures, specifically working with SAP Advanced Event Mesh (AEM).
Experience in software testing, test automation, and test-driven development (TDD), including unit and regression testing.
Experience in rapid prototyping and applying clean code principles to build maintainable, scalable software solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience utilizing developer and DevOps tools, including Git, GitHub, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines like Jenkins.
Deep understanding of messaging and integration protocols such as OData, REST, and SOAP.
Experience working with relational databases, specifically SAP HANA, including database modeling and query optimization.
Familiarity with SAP BTP core services, including SAP Workflow Management, SAP Business Rules, and SAP Integration Suite.
Proven ability to collaborate and adapt in a fast-paced environment with multi-regional, cross-functional teams across different time zones.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying system optimizations and resolving cross-system issues.
