SAP ABAP Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and customize SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements to align with organizational business processes.
2. Collaborate with functional teams to gather business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
3. Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for existing ABAP programs.
4. Conduct unit testing and support integration testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
5. Document technical designs, configurations, and development efforts thoroughly.
6. Provide production support and resolve any ABAP-related issues promptly.
7. Engage in ongoing learning of new SAP enhancements and best practices for ABAP development.
8. Participate in project planning and estimation efforts as required.

Requirements

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
3. Strong knowledge of ABAP programming, including skills in ABAP Objects, modules, and BAPIs.
4. Experience in developing reports using tools like SAP Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms.
5. Understanding of SAP functional modules such as SD, MM, and FI/CO is an advantage.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
7. Good communication skills, with the ability to work well in collaborative team settings.
8. SAP certification in ABAP development is a plus.
