Salespeople - Ladies Fashions

We have 2 opportunities to join our Womenswear team; one is a full-time role, and one is a part-time role. We are looking for passionate fashion lovers /aspiring stylists to work in our beautiful Ladies Fashions and Contemporary Lounge departments.

In the Fashions and Contemporary Lounge departments, we have a focus on high fashion for those among us who demand the latest looks. We have some of New Zealand's top brands including Karen Walker, Marle, Vassalli, as well as many international brands such as Seasalt and White Stuff. You will know Ballantynes and its reputation for offering covetable brands that appeal to a broad range of customers; maybe you’ve had thoughts of becoming one of our brand experts.

You will be brand savvy and able to show off your expert product knowledge.

These are busy areas and as one of our salespeople, you will enjoy interacting with our customers, having the confidence to provide that one-on-one service to advise on the latest trends or show off your product knowledge. Being passionate, motivated and committed to achieving high standards at all times. You will be adaptable and use your initiative to keep on top of tasks, ensuring your area is kept well-presented and stocked. 

We also provide opportunities for you to expand your styling skills so you can provide that one-on-one Styling service to advise on the latest trends and create outfits for any occasion. 

Having a good teamwork ethic along with the flexibility to work across all areas of the store is essential to assist the wider team when required. You will be working with an established team and embrace the positive culture that be Ballantynes offers.

Successful Candidates:

The ideal applicants will have the following attributes:

• Previous retail experience
• Experience in achieving sales targets
• A genuine love for fashion
• Be helpful, and willing to go above and beyond to assist our customers. 
• Passionate about working with quality merchandise
• Be confident and enthusiastic.
• Great teamwork skills

The full-time permanent role is working Sunday to Thursday - 37.5 hours per week.

The part time permanent role is working Saturday - 5.5 hours per week.
