The Opportunity

This position is based in Imazium, Damansara within Abbott's Structural Heart business. Abbott's Structural Heart business exists to restore health and improve quality of life by designing and providing innovative solutions for treating structural heart disease.

As the Sales Manager, Singapore & Malaysia, you will lead the commercial strategy and execution across the assigned markets, driving sustainable business growth, expanding market share, and developing a high-performing sales organization. You will work closely with the Country Manager and regional stakeholders to identify market opportunities, accelerate adoption of Structural Heart therapies, and ensure exceptional customer support.

What You'll Work On

  • Lead and develop the sales team across Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei to achieve and exceed sales objectives.

  • Drive market expansion initiatives and strengthen Abbott's position as the leader in Structural Heart therapies.

  • Own quarterly and annual sales performance and AOP targets for the assigned territory.

  • Partner with regional marketing teams to develop and execute customer engagement and market development programs.

  • Support the establishment of education centers, physician training programs, and key opinion leader development initiatives.

  • Ensure the technical sales team delivers outstanding clinical and procedural support during device implants.

  • Lead participation in industry congresses, customer events, product launches, and trade exhibitions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Healthcare, Business, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Structural Heart, Electrophysiology, Medical Devices, or the broader healthcare industry.

  • Proven sales leadership experience with a strong commercial track record.

  • Strong clinical and customer-facing orientation, ideally within cardiology-related products and therapies.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Ability and willingness to travel across the region as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting procedures in Operating Theatre (OT) or Interventional Cath Lab (ICL) environments.

  • Experience managing public or private healthcare tenders.

  • Demonstrated success leading high-performing teams in a matrix organization.

  • Additional Southeast Asian language capabilities would be advantageous.
