EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.</div>The official job specifications for this role, as defined by the State Civil Service, can be found <a href="https://apps01.civilservice.louisiana.gov/onestopjobinfo/DisplayJobSpec.aspx?JobCode=165600" target="_blank">here.</a>Job Duties: <ul><li>Primary point of contact for the Emergency Response Team.</li><li>Coordinates resources between state agencies and local authorities.</li><li>Leads the preparedness and response of behavioral health teams.</li><li>Recommend policies and procedures to support for disaster response and recovery initiatives.</li><li>Chairs the Crisis Intervention Team Training Institute.</li><li>Serves on local and state committees involved in emergency preparedness.</li><li>Oversees the deployment to the Medical Special Needs Shelter (MSNS), Red Cross shelters, and other community shelters.</li><li>Provides training and education to address behavioral health crises.</li><li>Complies data and issues a formal report to the executive team.</li></ul> Position-Specific Details: Appointment Type: Probational Appointment or Promotion (CAHSD employees only). Location: Capital Area Human Services District's Administration Work Schedule:  9 hours per day Monday - Thursday, and 4 hours on Friday.
