Safety Officer (Short Term - 1 month)

Eram Talent is seeking a qualified Safety Officer for a short-term engagement of 1 month. This position is crucial for ensuring a safe working environment across various operations, complying with safety regulations, and promoting health and safety awareness among employees.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections and assessments to identify hazards.
• Implement and oversee safety protocols in compliance with local regulations.
• Assist in the development and delivery of safety training programs.
• Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
• Collaborate with management and staff to promote a culture of safety.
• Report on safety performance and recommend improvements where necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety officer role.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• NEBOSH or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel if required.
