Digital Delivery Intern

Key Responsibilities: 

• 3D Modelling and detailing  
• BIM implementation   
• Participating in office technical discussions and project delivery meetings  
• Conducting conceptual and detailed design and drafting in order to prepare technical drawings and documentation  

• Provide practical and economical solutions to project deliverables  
• Maintain a high level of Computer Aided Drawing (CAD) and modelling expertise and engineering knowledge   
• Ensure drawings and documentation are to the highest quality  
• Strictly adhere to SMEC’s Management System (MS), quality standards and OHS procedures  

• Assist Project Managers & Engineers with site queries and reporting solutions  

• Parametric Modelling 

• Model Federation and rendering development 

Key Challenges: 

• To work independently and self-motivated to produce accurate drawings to a high standard within set deadlines  
• Develop models and civil engineering drawings related to water infrastructure projects.

Key Performance Indicators: 

• Accuracy of drawings and models 

• Meeting set deadlines. Here the expectation is to manage own deadlines as well as be responsible for the deadlines of the drafting team as a whole. 
• Identifies and understands technical issues, problems and opportunities  

• Project delivery to meet client’s ToR/ BEP  
•  

Recommended Qualifications, Skills & Experience: 

• Certified Droughting Certificate in Revit & Autodesk.

• Proficiency in Revit, C3D, QGIS, and any other discipline associated software essential  

• ACC / BIM360 and Project Wise Proficiency  

• Modelling and Detailing to LOD 100-500
