Rough Finishing Carpenter

Aureol Global Connections is seeking a skilled Rough Finishing Carpenter to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and finishing of rough carpentry elements such as framing, sheathing, subfloors, and exterior and interior finish work. Your expertise will ensure that structures are built to code and prepared for the final finishing phases. Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and building plans to perform rough finishing carpentry work accurately.
• Construct and install framing, partitions, subfloors, and other structural wood components.
• Install rough trim work, including door and window frames, moldings, and other finish carpentry tasks as needed.
• Ensure all carpentry work complies with building codes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other construction team members to coordinate workflow and project timelines.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and worksite cleanliness, adhering to safety protocols.
• Identify and address any defects or issues during the rough finishing process.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Rough Finishing Carpenter or in a similar carpentry role.
• Strong knowledge of rough carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle carpentry tasks.
• Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to work at various job sites as necessary.
