Job description
About Until
Until is a moonshot company building a “pause button” for biology. Our near-term focus is organ-scale reversible cryopreservation: preserving donated organs at subzero temperatures without ice formation, then rewarming them uniformly for transplant. By solving this challenge, we are laying the foundation for whole-body reversible cryopreservation, giving patients a bridge to future cures. To achieve our goal, we are assembling an interdisciplinary team to develop perfusion systems, cryoprotectant formulations, and vitrification and rewarming hardware. We envision a future where no transplantable organ is lost to logistics, and no terminal diagnosis is final because patients can safely wait for future medicine to arrive.
About the Role
We’re looking for a highly reliable, detail-oriented university intern to support lab operations through a rotational role. This is a paid, hands-on position for someone who enjoys being in the middle of things — helping systems run smoothly, learning how a fast-moving biotech operates, and executing on real operational work. This role is ideal for a student interested in biotech, operations, lab environments, or startups who wants exposure to both the scientific and business sides of an early-stage company.
What You'll Do
- Assist with day-to-day lab operations errands (receiving packages, restocking supplies, returns, equipment coordination)
- Coordinate pickups, drop-offs, and deliveries related to lab work (samples, equipment, materials)
- Help maintain lab organization and cleanliness standards
- Support inventory tracking and basic lab logistics
- Assist lab team members with operational setup tasks as needed
- Rotate between lab ops and broader operations work based on weekly needs
- Gain exposure to how operations supports R&D, people, and company scaling
- Take on increasing ownership and responsibility as you ramp
