Job Description:

Parsons is seeking an experienced Roads & Pavement Engineer to support the design review, construction supervision, quality control, and technical coordination of roads, airport landside road networks, airfield pavements, and associated civil infrastructure for a major Airport Development Project.

What You'll Be Doing

• Review pavement and roadway designs.
• Verify compliance with project requirements and international standards.
• Review geometric design, pavement structures, grading, and cross-sections.
• Review flexible and rigid pavement designs.
• Evaluate pavement thickness calculations and material specifications.
• Assess pavement performance and durability.
• Review contractor shop drawings and method statements.
• Conduct site inspections.
• Verify construction quality and compliance.
• Coordinate pavement interfaces with airfield systems and utilities.
• Review operational impacts during construction.
• Support phased construction planning.
• Coordinate with airport authorities, consultants, contractors, and government agencies.
• Support technical approvals.
• Monitor pavement testing.
• Review asphalt and concrete quality reports.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Prepare technical reports and engineering recommendations.
• Monitor progress and construction quality.
• Promote safe construction practices.
• Participate in risk assessments and constructability reviews.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years in Roads and Pavement Engineering.
• Airport, highways, or transportation infrastructure experience.
• Construction supervision experience.
• Pavement design principles.
• Airport pavement standards.
• Material testing procedures.
• Civil engineering software.
• Strong coordination and reporting skills.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Professional Engineer registration.
• ICAO and FAA pavement experience.
• Knowledge of pavement management systems.
• Experience under FIDIC contracts.
