RN NOC Shift Supervisor Full-Time

Location: Visalia Post Acute – Visalia, CA
Shift: NOC (Overnight)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Starting Pay: $45/hour

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN NOC Shift Supervisor to support our overnight clinical team. If you're passionate about delivering high-quality resident care in a skilled nursing environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate regularly with residents and families regarding care plans, therapies, and treatment protocols

• Participate in daily stand-up meetings to support interdisciplinary communication

• Answer resident and family questions, offering reassurance and clear information

• Monitor resident status and respond to changing clinical needs

• Prioritize daily tasks based on assessments of new, current, and discharging residents

• Complete accurate and timely documentation and charting

• Perform utilization review to ensure effective, timely, and cost-efficient care

• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and referrals with internal and external providers

• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, care providers, and family members

• Maintain compliance with Medicare, Medi-Cal, and other payer requirements

Qualifications:

• Current, valid California RN license preferred; LVN/LPN license acceptable

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Social Work preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility

• Knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, and Medicaid benefits

• Strong time management, critical thinking, and communication skills

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (PCC knowledge preferred)

• Certification as a Case Manager (CCM) a plus

Physical & Work Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform occasional bending, stooping, and kneeling

• Frequent walking, standing, and interaction with residents and staff

• Moderate noise level in a clinical care setting

• Must be able to maintain focus and flexibility in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
